Chiang Mai is a city in the northern Thailand and it has a rich history, like the temple Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which offers incredible views from its mountaintop. But is also has regular Night Bazaar and Sunday Night Street, where you can enjoy street food and local crafts. I found Chiang Mai less packed compared to Phuket (I have only been to these two places so far), so I enjoyed Chiang Mai!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

~Going up cafe<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is small cafe which sells affordable sandwiches and fresh juices. They have variety of tuna sandwiches. Nevertheless, since this is a small cafe you will find limited seats inside, but you can still take seats outside. The sandwiches ranges from 69-89 Baht, without any extra’s. The only thing that was less pleasant is that they do not have toilet.

~ Sunday night market <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thailand is known for its night markets and these markets come with lots of food stall. The Sunday night market is located at the centre of the old city, so it would be best to combine the Sunday night market after you have explored the touristic area\u2019s\/ temples, like Wat Pra Singh (Buddhist temple). Note that this bazar is only open at Sundays. This market is spread across long street and some side alleys, so be prepared to walk. At some point we saw a whole square with varieties of food stalls. Some of them showed halal signs and they even have vegan options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
