Middle East

Middle East

When I think of the middle-eastern vegetarian cuisine I tend to think of falafel, hummus or other kind of mezze (tapas-like small dishes). The middle-eastern cuisine is endless and it has so much more to offer. It uses fresh herbs or spices without being excessive.

United Arab Emirates

United Arab Emirates

Most known cities from United Arab Emirates (UAE) are Dubai and Abu Dhabi. However these are only two out of the seven emirates. So far I have only been visiting Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The cuisine is a blend of It’s Bedouin, Persian, Indian, and

Dubai

Dubai

Dubai is the largest city from United Arab Emirates. It has many nationalities, due to the expats living there, but is also visited by more than 18 million tourists as per 2024. Dubai simply wants to put itself as the culinary capital which evolve around

Jeju

Jeju

If you happen to be in South-Korea, you might want to consider visiting Jeju island. It is green, full of nature and quite relaxing. In terms of food, we found just a few halal restaurants with the Yemen restaurant being our favourite place to visit.

Hanoi was our last destination in Vietnam and the city was hectic. Couldn’t expect differently when visiting a capital which is also the second largest city in Vietnam, after Ho Chi Minh City. The streets were filled with eateries that have small tables and chairs

Vietnam

When I think of Vietnam I mostly think of their fresh/clean ingredients that they use in the dishes. Like coriander or rice paper which is being used for making spring rolls. They are also known for some of their meaty dishes, like the Pho soup.

Busan

Busan

One thing I think about when I hear Busan, is the “train to Busan”. We did take the train to Busan and luckily we did not spot any zombies. It was a nice city, which is also the second largest city in South-Korea. It did

South-Korea

South-Korea

South-Korea an Asian country known for k-drama, k-pop and k-beauty. But they are also known for their bbq, kimchi and their spicy tteokbokki. I must admit that South-korean spiciness is on a different level. Also it was hard for a vegetarian to find your way
